Girls unite!

When Nelly and Noa approached me with a project that, in their own words, lives and breaths all things girly I was all in – you had me at sparkles. 💖

The goal was to create a fun and distinguishable brand in order to stand out from the greige crowd. "Distinguishable", I thought, Hmmmm, "Fun", I thought even further, nurturing a sweat dream about a hand-drawn logo in custom typeface – an opportunity on which I jump EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

The logo mimics a silk ribbon twisting and turning, drawing from the nature of the company's name, Nami, with one of its translations meaning "wave" in Japanese. The colour palette followed with a vibrant collection of summer tones. Accompanying graphics include buttons with tag lines and slogans and arrows especially for web use.
Ready, set, (pre)launch!

I got to put the brand new brand book to test as Nelly and Noa were preparing to launch their shining star of a business to the world. A pre-launch campaign was designed for instagram, teasing the different services and parts of the logo ahead of the proper launch following the next week, delving into the brand.

The brand book has since flew my nest and landed safely in the hands of the master minds behind Nami Studio, informing the new owners on how to implement the identity to their daily-published content.

Although digital is the dominating medium these days, there's still something about a physical touchpoint making the brand feel that little more real. As part of the launch week, Nami organised a giveaway for which I was excited to create a poster that was printed and distributed around Helsinki. Shine on, you magnificent star! ✨
According to the client:

"Kaisa did everything to create the most perfect brand for us. We’re so grateful for her incredible vision and dedication. She paid attention to every detail while also being very easy to collaborate with as she took feedback very well. We will definitely keep Kaisa in our network for our future projects!"
