Osallistuttiin Unettomaan ekaa kertaa DOP Nelly Vuokon kanssa – koska kaikki muutkin siistit tyypit on siihen osallistunu. Teemana “silta”, rooleina käsikirjoittaja, ohjaaja ja motion graafikko, aikaa 48 tuntia, kokemusta 0. Moniulotteisessa esikoisteoksessa on Lynchiläinen juoni ja Andersonialainen kepeys. Näki se ihan oikean valkokankaankin.

As part of Uneton48 short film competition, DOP Nelly Vuokko and myself rolled up our sleeves to bring to you our vision of the theme"bridge". As a first-time screenwriter I scripted a multilayered Lynchian plot with an Andersonian lightheartedness in its visual language which was produced by Nelly and I over the course of two days.

Retroa! Wes Andersonia! Seriffejä ja kursiiveja! Näistä on Säätöö tehty! Etukenoon jo ennustettiin, että säätämiseksi tää varmaan tulee suurilta osin menemään. Ääkköset viehätti meitä moelmpia ja syväksi onnekseni sain pisteet toimimaan myös filmiraidan reikinä. Visun tummanpuhuvuus istui myös Unettoman ig-feediin huomaamatta, kun vahingossa postattiin suoraan sinne yhteistyönä päiväksi meidän juttuja. Näkyvyyttä!

Retro! Wes Anderson! Serifs and cursivs! Säätöö [Fuck around to find out] was a sort of a self-fulfilling prophecy since it was the first time we ever entered a film competition and it was bound to entail some säätöö. Most definitely not the least when we posted stuff to the organiser’s ig page as collaborative posts without anyone realising for 24h… Publicity!
